About Us
AsakeOge is a third generation, legacy couture.
Nurtured by a mother and grandmother who were seamstresses, Asake Agoro established the clothing line in 2009 to pioneer African print as mainstream fashion in London. The label has grown to cross continents, win international recognition and awards.
AsakeOge translates bits of Africa into well sewn, modern fabrics.
Our timeless creations are trademarked by 3 African elements: vibrant colours, tribal materials, and excellent tailoring.
Inspired by the mother continent, AsakeOge is a proud contributor to its economy. Our materials are locally sourced, produced in collaboration with native artisans, and managed by a team of homegrown professionals.
Asake Agoro’s fabric artistry is a phenomenal spiel of black heritage.
A yarn that started as stitches by an insistent 15 year old SouthWest Nigerian who pedalled her mother’s sewing machine, indulged and guided by her grandmother. Please click on the Subscribe button for once-a-month exclusive deals and updates as the brand continues to grow.
