The SÒLÁ Boubou by ASAKE-OGE is a floor-sweeping luxury kaftan gown handcrafted in metallic liquid mikado satin — one of the most light-responsive, drape-rich fabrics in luxury fashion. Named from the Yoruba word for honor and radiance, the SÒLÁ was designed for the woman who has always been the most powerful presence in every room she walks into.

This is not a dress you find at a boutique. It is sewn specifically for you, in the color you choose, the moment your order is placed.

One Size Fits All. The SÒLÁ Boubou is engineered with a fully fluid, relaxed silhouette that drapes beautifully across all body types. From a size 2 to a size 24, the generous cut and weighted fabric fall the same way  luxuriously. No alterations needed.

THE DESIGN

The silhouette is immediately commanding. Dramatically oversized bishop sleeves billow wide from the shoulder and gather into soft ruched cuffs at the wrist, creating a contrast between grand volume and refined detail that is entirely intentional. The deep V-neckline is subtle but striking. The skirt is full, weighted, and floor-sweeping  the kind of length and volume that photographs at every angle and moves with presence in every room.

The metallic liquid mikado satin fabric is the centerpiece. It is soft against the skin, substantial in hand, and luminous under any light  catching warm highlights at the peaks of every fold and deepening into rich amber shadow in the recesses. It does not look like fabric. It looks like something poured.
